Surf Life Saving grants are making a splash

This summer we collaborated with Paperboy magazine to showcase how some of the Surf Life Saving clubs around New Zealand are benefiting from our 2017 Surf Life Saving Grants.

Dave Comp, a surf lifeguard and chairman of Bethells Beach Surf Club, says their $5000 grant for first aid training is “essential”.

“We’ve got to have qualified people. If somebody falls down in front of them, they should know what to do – whether it’s a sprain, or a heart attack...it’s a hell of an expense – you can imagine trying to qualify a large chunk of people.”

You can read more stories from the lucky grant winners here, or find out more about our sponsorship here.

Teeing off 2018 at the Rebel Sport NZ Golf Masters

We were pleased to support the Rebel Sport NZ Golf Masters that took place in Auckland from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 January.

As sponsors, the TSB team and their guests enjoyed the great views of the course from the Wainui Golf Clubhouse. We also kept all spectators safe from the sun with mini sunscreen gifts.

Summer Scene

On the scene at Summer Scene

The ultimate school holidays companion, TSB Festival of Lights Summer Scene, was running again this year. This annual event series is organised to entertain, delight and inspire the children of Taranaki.

We had a great time at the Scavenger Hunt painting faces, making poi and running a colouring in competition. Winners of the Hunt and the colouring in were awarded TSB Youth accounts loaded with $25 - $50.
