We’re making some changes to our General Banking Information
Our General Banking Information sets out the rules under which we provide banking products and services to you as a customer. They explain your rights and responsibilities, and ours.
From 26 June 2021, changes to the General Banking Information take effect. Outlined below are the changes and what they mean for you. Please take the time to read through and understand how these changes might affect you. By continuing to use our accounts and services, you agree to these changes.
Changes to Cheques
We will no longer be accepting any cheques from 26 June 2021, with the exception of TSB bank cheques and Foreign Exchange cheques. We’ve updated all references to cheques throughout our General Banking Information, with the key changes to:
- General Banking Terms and Conditions – Clause 5: Cheques – updated to only reference TSB bank cheques
- Account and Service Fees section – we’ve removed the ‘cheque clearance fees’, ‘dishonoured cheque fee’ and ‘stopped cheque fee’
In addition, we’ve updated the name of our shareholder from ‘TSB Community Trust’ to ‘TOI Foundation’.
