TSB has been named Canstar’s 2026 Bank of the Year for Everyday Banking.

The Everyday Banking Award recognises the financial institution that provides the strongest combination of products, price, features and customer satisfaction across everyday banking – including transaction accounts, savings accounts and credit cards.

Canstar said TSB claimed the 2026 Everyday Banking Award on the strength of a well-rounded product range that covers the full scope of day-to-day banking activities.

It highlighted TSB’s Connect Plus transaction account, which offers zero fees and unlimited transactions; WebSaver, which pays interest on all balances with no withdrawal conditions attached; and the Low Rate Mastercard, which has an 11.95% p.a. purchase interest rate.

The award follows TSB recently being named Canstar’s 2026 Bank of the Year for Credit Cards for the fourth consecutive year.

TSB’s General Manager - Product and Marketing, Nick Herbert, says the recognition reflects TSB’s focus on making everyday banking simple and useful for customers.

“Everyday banking is about offering simple, competitive products that help customers stay in control of their money.

“Whether customers are paying bills, managing daily spending, saving, or looking for flexibility across their banking, we want our products to be easy to use and good value.

“Underpinning this award is our focus on customer service which, along with a strong product set, is what really drives customer satisfaction. It’s a fantastic endorsement of what all our dedicated teams across the business do on a daily basis, and the continued improvements we're making across digital and our brand.

“To be recognised again by Canstar for everyday banking, alongside our recent Bank of the Year – Credit Cards award for the fourth year running, is a proud moment for our team and a strong endorsement of the value we’re delivering for customers,” says Nick Herbert.
