We’re changing the way TSB customers can buy and sell foreign cash.
We’re changing the way TSB customers can buy and sell foreign cash.
From Monday 1st September, TSB customers will no longer be able to purchase foreign cash from our branches. From Wednesday 1st October, we’ll no longer exchange foreign cash for NZD.
Instead, TSB customers can buy foreign currency directly through our partner Travelex*. TSB customers will be able to access special rates using a promo code – this will be available on our website from Monday 1st September.
How to buy foreign currency from Monday 1 September
- Buy online with click and collect at travelex.co.nz. All you’ll need to do is select the Travelex collection point in New Zealand you want to collect it from and enter the TSB promo code at checkout.
- In person at a Travelex store in New Zealand – you’ll need to show you’re a TSB customer when buying in person. Make sure you have either a TSB statement or your TSB Debit or Credit card with your name on it.
How to sell foreign currency from Wednesday 1 October
- Visit a Travelex store to exchange your foreign currency into NZD.
*When you transact with Travelex you are a customer of Travelex. TSB does not act for Travelex.
