TSB’s central New Plymouth, Te Pū o Te Toi ki Ngāmotu branch, is set to relocate from Devon Street East into the bank’s existing Customer Hub on Courtenay Street, bringing all customer-facing services together under one roof for a more seamless customer experience.

The modernised branch will open on Tuesday 23 June on the ground floor of 103 Courtenay Street by the existing TSB carpark.

Customers will be able to park right outside the front door, making it easier to access banking services in the CBD. The branch will also feature a secure 24/7 lobby with swipe access, including a Smart ATM for cash withdrawals and note deposits, a coin deposit machine, and a note-splitter for changing larger notes into smaller denominations.

TSB CEO Kerry Boielle says the move strengthens the bank’s commitment to delivering convenient, accessible, and modern banking options for customers in the heart of New Plymouth.

“This move is all about making things easier for our customers,” says Boielle.

“Moving our Centre Branch into the Hub means business and personal customers will have everything they need in one place, from everyday banking and home loan support to business advice.”

“Customers will continue to see the same familiar faces and receive the same outstanding service, now in a modern and welcoming space designed to better support the community.”

TSB also recently relocated its Head Office team to the OMV building on Gill Street while long-term options for the current Head Office building are explored.

“These moves are about investing in our future so we can keep delivering great service and support to our Taranaki customers for generations to come,” says Boielle.

The current branch on Devon Street East will close permanently at 4.30pm on Friday 19 June.
