In the lead up to the holiday season, TSB is celebrating gratitude and generosity in a uniquely Kiwi way with The Great TSB Give Back.
Inspired by the spirit of Thanksgiving, TSB surprised customers who took part in a short post-call survey — asking about their financial goals, big expenses, and the things they’d love to treat themselves to. What those customers didn’t know was that their answers could lead to something special: a gift from TSB to help them get a little closer to their goals.
The phone calls generated some lovely customer outcomes including helping a mother pay off hire purchase beds for her children, paying off a farmer’s new tractor, birthday cash gifts, and even a special anniversary trip to Queenstown for a widow grieving the loss of her husband.
TSB’s generosity was spread across customers from all around Aotearoa and their joyful reactions were captured on film, revealing moments of surprise, gratitude and even a few happy tears.
Now, as the videos are released, TSB is sharing these stories to celebrate the spirit of giving, the resilience of its customers, and the small gestures of kindness that can make a big difference.
TSB chief executive Kerry Boielle says giving back to customers and communities is at the core of what the 100% New Zealand-owned bank is all about.
"This year TSB is celebrating 175 years of putting customers first. The Great TSB Give Back is another way of showing genuine care and making a real difference in people’s lives, especially at this time of year when financial pressures increase.
“We’re incredibly proud to celebrate gratitude in a way that reflects our values and the strong relationships we have with our customers," says Kerry.
TSB invites media and communities across Aotearoa to share the video and help spread the feel-good spirit of thanks and giving - celebrating kindness, connection and what it truly means to be part of a bank that gives back.
