Key features
Borrow up to the agreed overdraft limit
Your approved overdraft limit will depend on your situation. The minimum is $500 and maximum is $10,000.
Only pay interest on the amount you use
You only incur interest on the funds you actually draw down. This means you can manage your finances more efficiently, only paying for what you use.
Linked to your everyday account
Once approved, your pre-arranged credit limit will be added to your Connect Plus account.
To be eligible for an overdraft, you must:
- Meet our lending criteria and have a good credit history - we'll do a credit check as part of the application process
- Be a permanent New Zealand resident
- Be 18 years of age or over
- Have a regular income

To apply for an overdraft, you'll need to give us a call. One of our team can talk you through the options and check if an overdraft is right for you.
