Open a Term Investment account online
We want to make banking with us easy. If you're already a TSB customer and you'd like to open a new Term Investment account, simply log into Online Banking and follow the four easy steps below. If you're not a TSB customer, you can message us to get started.
Open a Term Investment
- Login to Online Banking and click “Apply” in the left-hand menu.
- Select “An account” then choose “Investment”.
- You’ll then be asked to confirm the details of your investment.
- Review and agree to the terms and conditions, and you’re all set!
Setting up alerts
You can get alerted when your investment is maturing. Simply log into Online Banking and click 'Settings > Alerts' to set up account alerts.

Withdrawing your term investment early
With a Term Investment, you’re agreeing to invest your funds for a fixed term. If you need to access these funds before the end of your term, you can request an early closure or partial withdrawal. If we agree to your request, the interest payable on your investment will be reduced. No interest will be payable on funds invested for less than 30 days.
